Tokyo, Japan
The last three days of the trip weren’t much compared to the previous days, yes there were still a lot of moving around, and visiting from district to district yet most of the time in the days were spent “Shopping.”
So we started the day by visiting anime-land, Akihabara. As one who watched a normal amount of animes exiting the metro and stepping into the area made it feel like I was in one myself. Left and right, the buildings, banners were covered in anime characters. A lot of comic book shops, vending machine arcade shops, electronic and gift shops were along the road.

We also traversed into the smaller alleyways to check out the small shops around.
It started to drizzle soon, so my mom looked for food, which then we found “Hinoya Curry” pork cutlet curry. When I tried a bite of it, damn! It’s so good! Just thinking about it while writing this post makes me hungry. The flavor of the curry with the creaminess and the heat when eating it fresh is just a blessing.
After from Akihabara we went to Ginza. We had like 2 hours to spend here so I didn’t do that much.
Ginza is cool tho, from the metro stop’s interior design and vibe. I just really liked the “cyberpunk city” vibes from the greenish glow pillars in the dark.

When we exit the station, the vast wide road, tall and a mix of modern and “old” buildings were really cool.

Ginza is also the area to find the 11 floor uniqlo building, so if any of you are wondering where it is, go to ginza.

We also just had a really nice lunch whilst we were in Ginza. Pork bbq.
After those 2 hours we went to Harajuku the vibe area for another 2 hours or so to look at shoes that we didn’t even buy. Hey but it’s all good because the vibes were fire

We ended the night in Shibuya, did the famous shibuya crossing.

Yeah, this is the view whilst crossing the i don’t know how many intersections, but it was a cool experience. Uobei, the photo on the right is the sushi place where we had our dinner. It was a conveyer belt type sushi place and we stacked plates over plates.

I also ended the night with a watch buy at a mega donki on our way home
The next day was an overall chill day, as we woke up at a moderate time, we caught a bus to go to the Gotemba Premium Outlets.

The area was an out door mall with mount Fuji in the background. But due to the weather forecast being cloudy, we couldn’t see him.
I didn’t get many things aside from a pair of trainers and a jacket. Yet when I was venturing through the area, walking around I stumbled upon a bush that was pink and vibrant.

At first, I mistook them for Sakura, or Cherry Blossoms. However, after some research, I discovered they belong to the same family but are a different species—Prunus Kanzan. Their bright, vibrant hues were an absolute delight to behold, especially as a cool breeze swept gently across our faces, enhancing the moment with a refreshing touch of serenity.
The rest of the day was literally just spent around the area, while others shopped I just enjoyed my time strolling around.
It was getting late and we headed back to city and rest up, because the next day is, DISNEYSEAAA!!

I was never really a fan of amusement parks or such, but I think doing it with the fam and fun people is still fun.
The globe was a must shot photo.
So after the mandatory photos we started entering the area.

And as always, the area sets are just beautiful.
I had my camera mostly in my bag and took it out occasionally when the chance came, so here are my photo dumps

From all the rides, my favorite would be “Journey to the Center of the Earth” “Tower of Terror” and the Toy Story ride/game
Journey to the center of the earth was a cool ride going through amazing sets which then finally sped up and became one of the cooler roller coaster rides.
Tower of Terror was a thrill, its the bottom right photo. Basically entering a lift and getting seated which then brings us up to the top of the tower, which then drops us several times. Going up and down in a free fall manor was pretty thrilling, yet the view from the peak of the tower is truly unmatched, I could see the whole area of Disney sea
Finally the Toy Story ride was really fun, being seated in a 2 seater cart, we had catapults attached where we could shoot anything that was on screen, so essentially we would be moving through the ride playing a game, which then showed us our final score at the end. Truly fun!!
Once that was done we went to watch the fire works for sure. Before we knew it, it was the next morning already and we were already at the airport terminal to go back home.
But the adventure didn’t end the previous day, not for me at least. While at the airport I remember my sister leaving a bag of uniqlo purchases at the security screening and just remembered as we were getting called on to the plane, so being the current active athlete I was asked to run and take the bag, then run back to the gate as my name was being final called. AHHAHAHHAHA again a cool memory to have. But that was the end of the 2023 Japan trip!
