USJ, Osaka, Japan
Day three is here and it’s the day a lot of us were looking forward to. A trip to Japan isn’t complete without a visit to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. We got up from a good nights rest and set out to USJ. As we exited the hotel, we were greeted by the warm bright sun. This blog post wont be talking much about the USJ experience but more about sharing the photos I took there. Yet I’ll try to include as much information about USJ as possible.

The weather that morning was perfect, despite it being rainy the previous day! So as usual we got onigiris for breakfast and a royal milk tea to drink, warm of course as the temperature was still particularly cold.
On the road the light and weather was really really really good(Yes I know if said it several times now).

We took the metro to USJ which actually just stopped right in-front of the park and a direct access, which means, PEOPLE. PACKED. AND FULL. As you can see for yourself.

Yes, this was the situation inside the metro, shoulder to shoulder with everyone in a 360 degree.
And this was the situation as we exited the metro and at the stop to the park entrance.

We entered and directly went for rides. I don’t exactly remember what we got on first but we got into queues after queues and occasional VIP passes. But what I will always remember to go on is any Jurassic Park ride. To me it’s a must, including buying at least one thing from the gift shop and on this trip both the ride and what I got were really good, even though I got wet.

A friend who was going with us has been to several parks before so he recommended us to try the turkey leg. So we queued with an empty stomach after several rides and each one of us got a leg.

Here’s a photo of my dad holding the legs we got, served hot, still steaming upon every bite, it makes me hungry as I’m writing this blog page.

Another must visit was the Harry Potter area, trying the Butter beer and this particular ride in Harry Potter land was insane. I’m usually not a big fan of Harry Potter nor did I watch any of the movies, yet this ride was amazing. Caution for those who get motion sick easily though, this ride is filled with a lot of maneuvers.
The jaws ride was also cool. I didn’t document a lot as I was on and off the rides until it was sunset and golden hour which I just had to capture the light.

It started off calm, subtle soft golden light, which made this area look really beautiful and warm. But over time the sun kept sinking and blasting more and more.

The glow from the sun just made it a breath taking view. Just an amusement park felt grand. Just strolling the area in the golden light with my mom and family was a vibe.
Before I knew it I took my final shot in USJ before going back to the city for dinner.

This was the ramen our family had for dinner. Which tasted not bad actually for a spontaneous find. So that was the whole third day, more like a photo showcase of the shots I took when I was there.
Next up is the day we took the bullet train to Tokyo!
