Final day in Labuan Bajo

A chill day after the hustle and bustle.

Ok, so this is the last post for the Labuan Bajo trip and it will be kept short as nothing much really happened.

On the last morning we made our way to an island that can disappear. A bit confused we looked at the guide, and he laughed. He then explained that its just a plain bed of sand in the middle of the seas, and can be visible just when the tides are low. When the tides are high the island is submerged in the water. So we made our way in the daylight before noon. From the big boat we went on a smaller boat as waters were getting more shallow towards the sands.

With clear glassy blue waters, it was a truly refreshing view to set our eyes on.

We later went to an small island that had a swing and a nice place to just look around for a while. The “dock” or whatever this is called lead into the pristine blue waters.

Before we knew it it was time to go back to mainland. So we spent the evening at a santorini looking like place for dinner while enjoying the view of the sea and the sunset.

Don’t the white buildings in the back look like the famous santorini views in Greece?

We had dinner and as I said before, watched the horizon turn golden for several minutes. The rest of the night was just spent back in the hotel, resting as the whole week has been pretty exhausting.
